Overview

THealth (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a mobile application operated by AIWIZE. THealth is a health news reader that includes an AI Doctors Roundtable feature — short, AI-generated audio conversations between simulated doctor voices. This Privacy Policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create a THealth account or sign in, we collect your email address and any profile fields you choose to provide. If you sign in through a third-party identity provider such as Google or Apple, we receive the basic profile information that provider shares with us.

Reading and Interest Data

THealth records the topics and stories you read or save so the editorial feed can be personalized. This includes interests you select, articles you opened or finished, and language and accessibility preferences. This data is tied to your account.

Roundtable Activity

When you open the AI Doctors Roundtable, we record session-level events (which roundtable was opened, when, and for how long) so we can improve the feature. The Roundtable is delivered through an embedded WebView; no microphone access is requested or used by the app.

Device and Diagnostics Data

We collect anonymized stability and product diagnostics through Mixpanel and Firebase Crashlytics: app version, device model, operating system version, language, screen events, and crash reports. We use these to find and fix bugs and to understand which features get used.

Push Notifications

If you enable notifications, we receive a device token through Apple Push Notification service or Firebase Cloud Messaging so we can deliver alerts you opted into. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

Permissions

THealth uses a minimal permission set:

• Notifications — to deliver alerts you have enabled
• Internet — to fetch articles, images, and the Roundtable WebView

THealth does not request access to HealthKit, Health Connect, microphone, contacts, location, or your photo library.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide and maintain the THealth app
• To personalize the editorial feed based on your interests and language
• To deliver notifications you have enabled
• To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, and abuse
• To improve the app based on aggregate usage patterns

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your reading activity or roundtable session data to train AI models.

AI-Generated Content

The AI Doctors Roundtable is computer-generated. The voices, names, and dialog are produced by artificial intelligence. The conversations are intended for general information and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The third-party vendor that produces the Roundtable processes the topic identifier and produces the audio conversation; no personally identifying information about you is shared with that vendor.

Data Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Access to backend systems is limited to authorized personnel and is logged for audit. We follow industry-standard practices to protect your data, but no system is perfectly secure.

Data Retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Reading history and interest preferences are retained until you delete them or close your account. Diagnostics data is retained for up to 90 days. After account deletion, content is removed within 30 days. See Delete Your Account for details.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as GDPR or CCPA, including the right to object to processing or to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Children’s Privacy

THealth is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Third-Party Services

THealth uses a small set of third-party services to operate:

• Firebase (Google) — authentication, crash reporting, push notifications
• Mixpanel — anonymized product analytics
• Apple / Google identity providers — sign-in with Apple, sign-in with Google
• Apple Push Notification service / Firebase Cloud Messaging — push delivery
• AI Doctors Roundtable vendor — generates the Roundtable audio conversations on our behalf

These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
